Common Problems Analysis and Countermeasures in Vocational English Skills Competition

2012年中等职业院校职业英语技能正式成为全国职业院校技能大赛赛项,大赛主要考察选手在职业环境下的英语语言交际能力和基本职业素质。结合自2012年以来连续4年辅导学生参加国赛的经验,分析选手在在线测评、情境交流、职场应用和职业风采4个竞赛环节中常见的问题,并给出相应的对策。

English skills competition for secondary vocational school students has officially become one part of national competition for technical talents since 2012. It aims to examine the contestants＇English communicative abilities in workplace and their basic professional qualifications. We have coached students to take part in national secondary vocational English skills competition four times since 2012. Based on the experiences, we analyze the common problems in the online testing, situational communication, profession application, talent show and discuss the relative solutions.
