辽宁省高等教育规模与经济综合实力相关性的实证分析

An Empirical Analysis of the Relationship between the Scale of Higher Education and the Economic Comprehensive Strength of Liaoning Province

主要采用2005-2014年的统计数据,运用统计方法对辽宁省高等教育规模化与经济综合实力进行实证分析。研究发现:辽宁省高等教育规模化与经济综合实力存在显著负相关性,呈现阶段性特征,辽宁省高等教育规模化超前于经济综合实力发展;辽宁省高等教育规模化与经济综合实力的拟合度低,出现了不协调发展,未能形成系统协调发展的内在动力机制。在综合分析的基础上,提出了若干政策性建议:适度减缓高等教育发展步伐,加强高等教育质量建设;发挥地方政府宏观调控的资源配置功能和协调作用。

We carry out an empirical analysis of higher education scale and economic com- prehensive strength of Liaoning Province. The study finds that the correlation between higher education scale and the economic comprehensive strength of Liaoning province is significantly neg- ative and present stage characteristics. The higher education scale exceeds economic comprehen- sive strength in Liaoning Province. The fitting degree between higher education scale and the comprehensive economic strength is low, presenting the uncoordinated development, and it fails to form a system＇s internal driving mechanisms for the coordinated development. On the basis of comprehensive analysis, this paper puts forward several policy suggestions that the pace of development of higher education should be moderately slowed down, the construction of quality of higher education should be improved; local government should pay attention to the resource allocating function in macro-control and coordination.
