红河州避晚霜良种核桃选择初报

Preliminary Report about Selection of Walnut Varieties with Late Frost Season in Honghe Prefecture

在调查红河州核桃资源的基础上,对倒春寒危害地区进行了避晚霜核桃优树的调查和选择。结果初选优树113株,复选45株,决选12株。从决选出来的12株中进行内含物检测合格后,上报云南省林木品种审定委员会认定,其中的10株核桃避晚霜性、丰产性、果品质量、抗病虫害较好,被评定为避晚霜性核桃良种。这10株核桃良种可作为红河州倒春寒严重的多霜冷凉地区推广种植品种。

Based on walnut resources survey in Honghe Prefecture, the objective is to investigate and select superior walnut species that can survive from the frost hazard in late spring coldness. The primary selection was 113 trees at first. Then it narrowed down to 45 trees, and eventually was finalized to 12 trees. After the content analysis and test qualified of the 12 trees, the Yunnan Forestry Variety Verification Committee has verified 10 out of 12 walnut trees with resistant of late forest season, high yield, high quality and pest resistant. The ten trees were awarded as premi- um species to survive from late frost season, and they can be promoted for massive plantations in the more frosty areas in the Honghe Prefecture.
