The experiment began in March 2015 and ended in August 2015 ,studied the influence of light music (cello music, violin music and bass music) on endocrine level and milk performance of dairy cows. 32 Holstein cows with similar age, weight, parity and milk yield were selected and randomly divided into two groups, namely, control group and test group, 18 for each. The test had three sections, each section 40 days. Each test started from 0 d. Every 20 days the daily yield, blood samples and milk samples were collected once. The results shows that, all these three types of music can promote milk yield and the violin music group shows the best result, the milk yield of violin group was 8 % significantly higher than control group through the entire period(P〈0. 05). The estrogen and growth hormone level of cello group was 5. 3 pg/mL, 0. 58 ng/mL significantly lower than control group through the entire period(P〈0. 01). The folli-cle stimulating hormone (FSH) level of violin test group was 0. 57 mlU/mL significantly lower than con-trol group through the entire period. The prolactin(PRL) level of bass music group was 24. 55 uIU/mL significantly lower than control group through the entire period(P〈0.05). Violin, cello and double bass music can control the production performance of dairy cows by regulating endocrine hormone release.
