摘要 定向动机流是二语学习者为实现既定的学习目标和愿景而在特定时段涌现出的动机激增现象,是学习者个体、环境和时间等因素协同作用的结果,是一个涵盖认知、心理、情感和行为的多维的概念。定向动机流理论实现了动机心理学主流理论在二语动机研究中的融合与发展,同时保证了二语动机在动态系统理论视域下的可研究性。后续还需大量实证研究对该理论进行验证和完善,使定向动机流的发生机制以及动机流与二语自我导向的关系更为明晰。 A Directed Motivational Current(DMC) is a unique period of heightened motivation which emerges from the alignment of a number of learner, contextual and temporal factors in pursuit of a specific learning goal/vision set by the L2 learner. The concept is multi-dimension-al as it covers the cognitive, psychological, emotional and behavioral aspects. The theory of DMCs has promoted the integration and development of the mainstream motivational psychol-ogy theories in L 2 motivation research, and it helps maintain the researchability of L2 motiva-tion from the perspective of the Dynamic Systems Theory. Large quantities of empirical studies are needed to validate and improve the theory so that the mechanism of how DMCs are trig-gered and the relationship between DMCs and L2 self-guides will become clearer.
