Chinese Terms in Linguistics innovatively constructs a knowledge system of phonology terms, which includes General, Phonetic analysis and rhyme tables, Rhyme analysis and middle Chinese phonology, Tongzhuan and old Chinese phonology, Phonetic change and transcriptions. This book fused simultaneously consensus and innovation, and provided principles for terminology specification and dictionaries to construct a clear phonology system, and to realize scientific classification of phonology terms.
