Research on Phenomenon of Gods Worship at Madam Xian Temples in Maoming

粤西茂名部分冼太庙同庙祭祀儒释道多位神,其位次多为左高右低,也有个别例外。多神共祀与社会文化、信众心理、传统文化和合性、庙宇现实需求等多种因素相关。不同信众的祭祀心理和行为有所不同。从祭祀的组织活动中,可以看到民间信仰对群众的深刻影响。

Gds of Confucianism,Buddhism ad Taoism ae worshipped at a same Madam Xian Temple in Maoming west part of Guagdong province,whose sitting arangement is that the left one is highest, the right the lowest, with a few exceptions. It is found from the activities and organization of worship that folk - belief has geat influ-ence on common people.
