In this paper, the analysis and processing of the partial discharge signals in a HVDC project handover test wererecorded. This paper introduced the method of the converter transformer field partial discharge test and the qualitative,positioning, causes and treatment results of the partial discharge. It can provide reference for test and diagnosis of convertertransformer field partial discharge.
