Through understanding soft foundation characteristics, the paper analyzes the necessity of soft foundation treatment in highway bridge construction, and explores conventional bridge engineering soft foundation processing methods from aspects of soil-replacing method, compacted reinforcing method and pipe-pile reinforcing method, with a view to improve the bridge engineering construction quality.
