摘要
以教育信息技术为平台的ESP教学是大学外语教学的发展趋势。翻转课堂具有符合语言学习特点、适应web 2.0时代学生习惯及不同学科背景下学生学习的个性需求、优化ESP教学环节、促进教师教学手段进一步发展等诸多优势。从翻转课堂的视角分析其在ESP教学中的运用及其面临的困难,同时提出相应的对策,旨在探讨应用型本科大学如何发挥翻转课堂的优势,有效促进ESP教学。
IT - based ESP teaching has become the inevitable tendency of college English teaching. Flipped classroom has such characteristics as conforming to the laws of language learning, suiting the students' leaning habit in the times of web2.0, the individual demands of students of various aca- demic backgrounds, optimizing ESP teaching links, further promoting the development of teachers' teaching methods, etc. This paper analyzes the feasibility of flipped classroom, presents what the teachers and the students can do in flipped classroom, discusses advantages, disadvantages and obstacles of it,and attempts to probe the ways of exerting the advantages of the flipped classroom in the application -oriented universities and effectively promote the ESP teaching.
