2016 Research Report on the Development of Art Anthropology in China

2016年度,中国艺术人类学研究稳步前行并蓬勃发展,取得了丰硕的成果,突出体现为:第一,理论研究逐步推进,学者们在田野研究中已具备人类学研究方法运用的自觉,并形成了自身的民族志表述方式;第二,扎实的个案研究逐渐增多,众多研究基于扎实的田野调查,呈现出开阔的学术视野和清晰的问题意识,不仅仅关注艺术本体,更在社会文化变迁的大语境中,考察了艺术行动主体与环境之间的互动,其中不乏优秀之作;第三,学术活动更为丰富,研讨主题日益体现出多学科互动融合的趋势,以及深厚的现实关切意识。同时还需看到,本年度的艺术人类学研究同样呈现出了诸多的问题,如对国外相关研究的译介仍需加强;不少论著仍然显得平面化和肤浅化,缺乏深入的田野调查和清晰的问题意识,在研究方法和问题关切上尚需提升等。

In 2016, the art anthropology research in China saw steady progress and achieved plentiful a- chievements, which are mainly shown in the following aspects： firstly, gradual progress was made in theoret- ical studies. During the field research, scholars knew how to apply art anthropology research methods and formed their own ways of ethnographic description ; secondly, the number of concrete case studies was gradu- ally increased. Many researches are based on fieldwork, showing researchers＇ broad academic vision and clear problem awareness. They not only focus on the art itself but also try to explore the interactions between the action subject of art and the environment. Many of them were outstanding works; thirdly, there were more academic activities, and the research topics showed a trend of multidisciplinary interaction and integra- tion and deep concerns for the reality. However, there were still a number of problems in the art anthropolo- gy research this year. For example, more overseas related studies should be translated and introduced to Chi- na; a lot of research papers were still fiat and shallow and in lack of deep field work and clear problem awareness. Researchers still need to improve their research methodologies and have more clear research fo- cus.
