Values play a very important role in college students career orientation and employment de- cisions. Values clarification helps college graduates make better career choices and suffer less mental stress. Colleges and universities must abide by the principles of values clarification, paying attention to the freedom of choice, behavioral match and social need, and use concrete tactics in one--to--many classroom teaching and one--to--one counseling to inspire rational thinking and emotional experience so students can have a clear understanding of the social significance of their pursuit of value.
