高校英语教学中军事隐喻和军语中转喻初探

军语作为军事语言不可缺少的核心单位,除军事领域之外,也渗透于全民范围的语言交际中。隐喻和转喻作为意义扩展的两条主要途径,推动着军语语义的发展,文章结合认知语言学中的隐喻和转喻理论,对军事隐喻及军语中的转喻进行探讨。

Military terms （MTs）, as the core component of military language, are not only specifically used in the military field, but an indispensable part of common language, exerting effect on language communication in the civil- ian sector. Metaphor and metonymy are two major cognitive approaches to semantic extension, which promote the MT semantics development. Combining metaphor and metonymy in cognitive linguistics, this paper explores the military metaphor and the metonymy in MTs.
