Abstract From the aspects of production process, raw material and metallographic structure, the author ana-lyzes the cause of performance abnormality at the mechanical property, tensile strength and yield strength of hot dip galvanizing ASTM Grade40 strip. All properties reached qualification standard by improving galvaniz-ing process and rolling process. The smooth and stable production was ensured.
