Performance Improving of the Heavy Vehicle Air Filter

摘要 在不改变空气滤清器原有结构尺寸的情况下,在空气滤清器进气口添加预滤装置,提高了空气滤清器的整体滤清效果。应用Soildworks软件对空气滤清器预滤装置进行三维建模,利用ANSYS-FLUENT软件进行气流阻力分析,得到预滤装置压力分布和气流流速矢量分布曲线。对预滤装置内部进行离散相数值模拟,并追踪颗粒运动轨迹,验证了滤清效果,能满足我国西北风沙大地区某重型车辆使用要求。 A pre-filter was added to the air vent to improve filter efficiency under the condition that the size of the original air filter remains the same. The three-dimensional model was built in Solidworks,of which the airflow pressure was analyzed in ANSYS-FLUENT. The pressure distribution and the flow rate distribution in pre-filter were obtained. In addition,the inner condition was simulated discretely and the movement of particles was tracked. The result demonstrates that this device is capable of improving the filter efficiency in heavy sand environment,enabling normal application for heavy vehicle in the northwest.
