The paper summarizes the economic situation of ferric oxide industly in China in 2016, lists out main economic data of this industry in 2016 and expects key emphasis in 2017. The whole industry should realize prosperity again by reform ＆ innovation, energy conservancy ＆ emission reduction and quick development around the ＂the 13^th Five-year Plan＂ based on the general principle of＂seeking progress while working to keep peribrmance stable＂.
