英汉语言中“红色”的语义重合探究

红色是人类认识并命名的最古老的颜色之一,在英汉两种语言中都具有多项语义,内涵丰富。这也引起了学界的广泛关注。但是,学者们的研究更加侧重于红色在英汉两种语言中语义的差异,对于其语义重合现象的研究较为匮乏。通过文献资料法和定性分析法,详细地描述了"红色"在英汉语言中的语义重合现象,并分析了该现象产生的原因,以期对于英语教学、语言研究和跨文化交流提供参考。

Red is one of the earliest colors recognized and named by mankinds.Red has various semantic meanings and connotation in both languages,which causes widespread concern of the academia.But,the researches are focused on the differences of the semantic meanings of red,and the researches on the semantic overlapping are insufficient.Through literature review and qualitative analysis,the paper describes in detail the semantic overlapping of red in English and Chinese languages,and makes an analysis of the causes for the phenomenon,hoping to provide a reference for English teaching,linguistic research and cross-cultural communication.
