Improving English Speaking Skills and Critical Thinking Abilities Based on Mind Map

学生进行英语演讲时经常出现"思辨缺席"问题,因此有必要尝试构建基于思维导图的英语演讲训练模式,并探讨该模式的可行性及其对思辨能力提升的促进作用。研究基于调查问卷结果及对学生的深度访谈,显示可利用思维导图进行英语演讲训练,帮助学生发散思维、提升思辨能力,逻辑清晰地输出语言及应答问题。

When students deliVer English speeches, there is always a lack of critical thinking. This research, based on survey and interview results, explores the feasibility of constructing a model for training students＇ English speaking skills by making use of the mind map. It aims to cultivate the students＇ English speaking abilities by way of improving their divergent and critical thinking, so as to help them to answer questions in a clear, logical and proper way.
