Elaborates on the cultivation of students＇ ability of autonomous learning in liberal arts from four aspects, such as students＇ psychology, classroom teaching, learning after class and assessment methods. Proposes corresponding measures of teaching reform such as guiding students to recognize mathematics, increasing self-confidence to learn mathematics, reasonable selecting the teaching content, integrating a variety of teaching methods, paying attention to chapter summary, autonomous learning after class, reforming the assessment methods. The starting point of these suggestions is to mobilize the initiative and enthusiasm of students, the purpose is to cultivate the students＇ autonomous learning ability.
