Nursing care of 20 patients undergoing artificial cervical intervertebral discs replacement

目的:总结和探讨20例人工颈椎间盘置换术患者围手术期护理要点。方法:对20例脊髓型颈椎病和神经根型颈椎病患者进行人工颈椎间盘置换术治疗,术前针对患者进行心理护理、呼吸功能锻炼以及气管和食管推移训练,术后除密切观察患者病情变化之外,采取体位、切口、饮食护理和功能锻炼。结果:20例患者术后四肢麻木、乏力等神经症状均有不同程度改善,住院期间无伤口感染、颈部血肿或窒息及神经功能损害加重等并发症的发生。结论:对人工颈椎间盘置换术患者做好围手术期护理,可以获得良好的治疗效果,缩短康复时间。

Objective：To summarize the experience of perioperative nursing for 20 patients undergoing artificial cervical intervertebral disc replacement.Methods：Twenty patients with cervical myelopathy or radiculopathy undergone artificial cervical intervertebral discs replacement were included.The nursing plan included preoperative mental nursing, exercise on respiratory function and guidance to practicing lapse of the oesophagus and trachea as well as post-operative profiles, including closely monitoring the changes of patient′s condition, appropriate body posture, nursing of the wound, diet instructions and rehabilitation of the cervical function.Results： All patients had relief to a certain extent in neurological symptoms such as numbness of extremities and fatigue.No complications, including wound infection, neck hematoma or suffocation, occurred during hospital stay.Conclusion： Carefully planned perioperative nursing strategies may lead to better curative effect and ensure early recovery for patients following artificial cervical intervertebral disc replacement.
