The complex geographical environment of our sea area has been presented, and the necessity of waming subsurface-buoy for the development of undersea prewaming equipment has been pointed out. The importance of warning subsurface-buoy for undersea prewarning system has been analysed, and the combat mission of warning subsurface-buoy has been expounded.
