Research on the Folk Custom of Yunnan by Domestic Scholars in the Early Years of the Resistance War against Japanese Aggression

云南地区的民俗研究始于20世纪初期,国内一批著名学者深入云南边疆民族地区,对少数民族民俗进行实地调查研究,取得了丰硕的成果。抗战时期,以杨成志、陶云逵、江应樑、方国瑜为代表的国内学者致力于云南民俗的研究,探讨在社会学、人类学、民族学多学科互渗下的民俗学研究范式。

Research on the folk custom of Yunnan traces back to the beginning years of the 20th centu- ry when a number of well - known domestic scholars came here to conduct field research on the folk custom of the minority ethnic groups living in the frontier areas. There efforts were fruitful. During the first years of the Resistance War against Japanese Aggression （1931 -- 1945）, Yang Zhicheng, Tao Yunkui, Jiang Yingliang and Fang Guoyu represented the domestic scholars researching into the folk custom of Yunnan to explore the folk custom research paradigm in the context of cross - disciplinary infiltration of sociology, anthropology, ethnology, etc.
