先锋文学的负功能长期被学界所忽视,因而这种负功能同时又是一种潜功能,这致使人们无法构筑应对先锋文学破坏力的理性力量。先锋意识否定性的核心特质导致先锋文学具有悲伤、孤独、紧张等负面的心理效果,同时也容易引发超越底线的社会行动。抑制先锋文学负功能中的破坏力需要保证它的思想性和个体性,而避免其行动性和体制化。大众文化是孕育先锋文学的土壤,同时又是先锋文学破坏力的一个天然的制约者。

The negative function of the avant-garde literature has been overlooked by academics for a long time, so the negative function is also a potential one. Therefore, we could not build up a rational power engaging with the destructive forces of the a- vant-garde literature. The consciousness of avant-garde, whose central trait is negativity, gives the avant-garde literature negative psychological effects such as sadness, loneliness, and tightness, etc., and is prone to cause social experiments beyond bottom lines. Repressing the negative functions and the destructive forces of the avant-garde literature means keeping its thought and individu- ality and avoiding its activity and institutionalization as well. The popular culture is the soil from which the avant-garde literature grew up and also a natural restriction of its destructive forces.
