The Policies and Practice of the Red Army Families' Preferential Treatment in Sichuan-Shanxi Soviet Area

优待红军家属工作与巩固发展川陕苏区具有密切的关系。为壮大红色武装,川陕苏维埃政府颁布实施了一系列优待红军家属的政策,赢得了群众广泛的回应。由于斗争环境原因,川陕苏区优待红军家属工作与中央苏区相比稍显落后。但在实践过程中,川陕苏维埃政府不遗余力地推行优属政策,仍使得该工作取得了很好的效果。优待红军家属是密切党群关系的重要举措,时至今日仍然具有十分重要的现实借鉴意义。

The work of the Red Army families＇ preferential treatment has a close relationship to me consolidation and development of the Sichuan -Shanxi Soviet Area. In order to enhance the armed forces, Soviet Government promulgated a series of preferential Red Army family policies, and got the masses extensive responses. Because of the battle environment, Sichuan - Shanxi Soviet Area was slightly backward compared with the Central Soviet Area in the Red Army families＇preferential treat- ment. But during the course of practice, the Sichuan - Shanxi Soviet Government spared no effort to carry out the preferential treatment policy for the Red Army family and has achieved a very good effect. The Red Army families＂ preferential treatment was an important measure to make close party -masses relationship. It still has a very important practical significance until today.
