摘要
古代纺织品的研究作为一个历史学、考古学与自然科学相融合的交叉学科,数十年来在国内的研究并未有长足的发展,目前依旧以历史和经典考古为主。文章介绍近年国外在古代纺织品研究领域,借助自然科学领域最前沿的地球科学与化学的理论,应用追溯起源的锶同位素溯源法。通过阐述锶同位素溯源法的原理及其如何应用于纺织品研究领域,并分析目前的实验研究案例,认为这一新技术可以成功判定古代毛纺品的原材料来源,但仍存在一定的局限性,并不适用于所有天然纤维。
Archaeological textile research is an interdiscipline combined with history, archaeology and natural science. For decades,this area failed to achieve a great progress in China. Current research is still dominated by history and classical archaeology. This article introduces the cutting-edge science and technology methods in archaeological textile research abroad based on geosciences and chemistry, i . e. strontium isotope tracing method. Besides,this paper expounds the principle of strontium isotope tracing method and how i t is applied in textile research field and analyzes current experimental study cases. It is believed that this new technology can successfully judge the raw material source of ancient woolen textile,butitstill has its limits so that it is not applicable toall natural fibers.
