This paper first discusses under the background of big data, integration of archives in the smart city construction, management of electronic documents,storage and backup of records data, construction of archives into government 2.0 construc- tionfile management have transformed from entity management to common knowledge management,which need to introduce big data technologies; secondly, this paper introduces big data applications in file management; finally, it summarized in that the era ofbig data is both opportunity and challenge for us.
