上海中医药大学的发展是一个具有传承中医药文化使命的事业,在国际定位层面和国家战略发展层面意义深重。中医药正迎来前所未有的重大发展战略机遇期。屠呦呦的中医药卓越成就在诺贝尔奖上将中医药的成就在世界领域发扬光大。随着2016年上海中医药大学建校60周年到来之际,此处需要向全世界呈现属于中医药的独特魅力。作为中轴线的收尾,六号楼在各个角度诠释着文化传承的始末。
