Statics is the first part of the basic mechanics,and in the teaching content of statics,some important questions need to be solved,such as the position of statics in the mechanical system,the contents of the statics research,the research methods of statics,the development process of statics and the scientists who have made contributions in the development of statics.This paper summarizes and answers these questions,which will help us to have a better understanding.
