In 2013, Cultural Relics Bureau of Linzi District, Zibo City excavated two vertical shaft pit burials in 甲-shaped plan furnished with stacked stones and wooden coffin chambers located to the southwest of Yaowang Village. These two burials were arranged abreast from east to west, on the primary soil ledges surrounding the coffin chambers of which, two subsidiary burials and one storage pit lbr burying grave goods were set. The grave goods unearthed from these two burials included pottery wares, bronzes, stone implements, crystal and agate objects, shell implements, etc. The burial structures and grave good assemblages showed that these two burials were the joint burials of a couple in separate graves, the occupants of which were the aristocrats of the dafu (grand master) rank of the Qi State in the late stage of the early Warring-States Period.
