The Characteristic,Problem and Development Path of Private Higher Education in India

私立高等教育是印度高等教育的重要组成部分。目前,印度私立高等教育的发展呈现出规模庞大、学科失衡、质量偏低和纯私立化等特征。面对市场化与商业化的冲击,印度私立高等教育在发展过程中产生了理念矛盾和现实矛盾。为改善这一状况,政府、中介组织和私立院校等纷纷采取行动积极应对,但受印度高等教育管理体系断裂、全国性私立高等教育法案及专门管理部门的缺失等影响,印度私立高等教育的发展仍充满挑战。

Private higher education is an important part of higher education in India. At present,private higher education in Indian presents the characteristics of large scale,discipline imbalance,low quality,and being pure private etc. Faced with the impact of marketization and commercialization,a series of problems appear in the process of development of private higher education in India. In order to remedy this situation,the India government,agent organizations,and private institutions have taken action to deal with it actively. However,the development of private higher education in India still confronts with challenges due to the lack of the management of the higher education,the law and the special administrative departments of the national private universities and colleges in India.
