摘要
目的了解医学本科生新生关爱能力现状,为医学生关爱能力的培养提供依据。方法采用问卷调查法,用关爱能力评价量表对某大学医学院5个专业224名入学新生进行了问卷调查。结果医学生关爱能力评分为194.31±1.23,其中耐心维度为57.92±0.39,理解维度为76.15±0.62,勇气维度为60.25±0.61。女生(61.52±0.74)在勇气维度得分高于男生(58.43±1.02,P<0.01),不同的民族、是否为独生子女及不同专业之间无差别。结论医学入校本科新生关爱能力处于中等水平,影响关爱能力的因素还需进一步研究,以便学校开设相关活动,培养医学生的关爱能力。
Objectives This prospective study was aimed to assess the level of caring ability of first year medical students and to examine differences in caring ability by sex,singleton or non-singleton,nationalities and academic programs.Methods Questionnaires assessing caring ability inventory(CAI)score were completed by first-year medical students from five different academic programs.Information was also gathered regarding respondents' demographic characteristics.The SPSS statistic software package(version11.5)was used for data analysis.Results Among the 224 deliverable surveys,222 were returned completed and used in the analysis(response rate= 99.1%).The total CAI score of first-year medical students was 194.31±1.23,which includes patience(57.92±0.39),knowing(76.15±0.62),and courage(60.25±0.61).Female students showed a significantly higher score of courage(61.52±0.74)compared to male students(58.43±1.02,P〈0.01).There were no significant differences in CAI score by nationalities,singleton/non-singleton,and academic programs.Conclusions The first-year Chinese medical students exhibit relatively medium levels of caring ability as assessed by the CAI.Further inquiry into caring ability will explore other influencing factors associated with caring ability and contribute to curriculum development.
