The Problems of Chinese Foreign Exchange Reserves Investment Returns and Relevant Reformation Strategies

本文论述了外汇储备投资概况、外汇储备成本、收益的核算,总结外汇储备投资效益低的成因,并借鉴其他新兴国家的外汇储备投资经验,提出我国可以通过优化投资主体、调整币种结构、拓展投资渠道、借鉴国外先进国家投资经验以及建立相应的风险防范体系和立法机构来提高外汇储备投资效率。

By analyzing the present investment general situation, the costs and benefits of foreign exchange reserves in China, the author summarized the reasons of low return rate of Chinese foreign exchange reserves and then put forward some advice. After learning from other emerging market countries, the author suggested that we can promote the investment efficiency of foreign reserves by optimizing investment subjects, adjusting currency structure, expanding investment channels, learning the successful experience of advanced countries. At the same time, we should establish corresponding risk prevention system and legislation institutions.
