我国党政文献英译显化研究

Explicitation in the translation of CPC literature

本文基于自建的我国党政文献汉英平行语料库,探讨英译文中的显化现象。借助Halliday对语言元功能的分类,将译文中的显化分为概念功能显化、人际功能显化和语篇功能显化。概念功能显化包括语义、文化信息、主语、时间和地点显化。人际功能显化包括评价意义和情态意义显化。语篇功能显化包括条件、转折、因果和目的关系连接词显化。

The author of this thesis,by building a Chinese-English parallel corpus,explores the explicitation in the translation of CPC literature. On the basis of Halliday's classification of the three meta-functions of language,the author categorizes the explicitation into three types,namely,the explicitation of ideational function,interpersonal function and textual function. The first type includes the explicitation of semantic meaning,cultural information,sentence subjects and time and place. The second type is composed of the explicitation of appraisal meaning and modal meaning. The last type consists of the explicitation of conditional,adversative,causal and objective relation.
