摘要
反观中国文论史,不难发现,历来重视文采和视觉审美的古代文论中,存在大量"锦绣喻文"的文论术语和审美批评范式。以中国古代文论集大成之作《文心雕龙》各主要英译本为研究对象,通过对各英译本"锦绣喻文"不同翻译的再阐释和新解读,探究如何通过翻译将这些极具中国特色的文论术语和集体无意识的审美范式译介到西方。研究发现汉英两语在"锦绣喻文"方面有许多共通之处,"锦绣喻文"的四类审美范式根据不同的语境基本都可译成不同的英文。"锦绣喻文"的这种可译性,也在一定程度上促进了中西文论间异质同构的对话和交流。
It is not difficult to find that great importance is attached to literary grace and visual aesthetic in the history of Chinese literary theory. There are a great number of literary terms and aesthetic paradigms with respect to 'Comparing Literature to Brocade'( Jinxiu Yu Wen). This study takes the English versions of Wenxin diaolong,which is regarded as the epitomization of Chinese ancient literary theory,as the research object. It is focused on the new interpretation in terms of 'Comparing Literature to Brocade'to explore the translation of these literary terms,which are full of Chinese characteristics and aesthetic paradigms of collective unconsciousness,into English. As to 'Comparing Literature to Brocade',the study found that Chinese and English language have much in common. The four kinds of aesthetic paradigms of 'Comparing Literature to Brocade 'can be translated into English according to different contexts. The translatability of 'Comparing Literature to Brocade'to some extent promotes the dialogues and exchanges between the oriental and occidental literary theories from the perspective of heterogeneous isomorphism.
