摘要
狭义相对论是《大学物理》中一个比较抽象的章节,特别是狭义相对论时空观所导致的钟慢尺缩效应,和经典的绝对时空观有着巨大的差别,再加之洛伦兹变换中时间和空间是彼此交织在一起的,学生在学习和解题的过程中不太容易接受。本文针对《大学物理》中狭义相对论章节的一道习题进行了探讨,指出"标准"答案中的一些不确定性因素,对《大学物理》的教学及教材编写具有一定的参考价值。
Special Relativity is an abstract chapter of "College Physics",it changes our views about time and space dramatically,through the famous effects of Time Dilation and Length Contraction,and it is very different from our classic absolute view on the time and space.Since space and time are entangled with each other in the Lorentz transformation,it seems not easy to be understood by the students.A detailed discussion on an exercise from the chapter of Special Relativity in "College Physics" is provided,it is pointed out that there are some ambiguity in the "standard" answer,and it will be helpful in the teaching of "College Physics".
