This paper introduces the characteristics of virtual reality technology and the development of digital library. Through the analysis of the relationship between them,it discusses the application of the technology in digital library,such as the innovation of service mode and the construction of information resources. It points out that the digital library combined with virtual reality technologywill change the service model of physical libraries.
