Wang Anshi's View of Publicity

王安石的宣传观与教化有密切关系,主要由三个部分组成:一是王安石认为人的才品生来就有上下、高低之别,圣人具有高的才品,因此应秉承天命、教化万民;二是才品上的差别导致认识上的差异,进而形成不同的舆论,错误的舆论有害于国,必须以正确思想,且应采用温和的手段统一舆论;三是在统一舆论的过程中,要注重分析教化对象的特征、差异,选择合适的方式进行说服,且教化、论辩时要充分调动对象的积极性,论有所本、言必有中。

Wang Anshi＇s view of publicity is closely related to education.h mainly composed of three parts. First, Wang Anshi believed that people are born to have difference on ability and character. He thought that the saints have high talent, so they should uphold the heavenly fate, educate the people; second, it leads to the differences in knowledge and then forming different public opinions. The wrong public opinion is harmful to the country. It had to be unified by correct thinking and moderate means; third, government should pay attention to analyzing the characteristics and differences of the object of education in the process of unifying the public opinions.It should choose the appropriate way to persuade and fully mobilize the enthusiasm of the objects when educating and argueing with them,so as to make everything sensible.
