University Librarianship Development in Recent Three Decades in China:--A Comparison of Three Revisions of Ordinary University Library Regulations

通过对《普通高等学校图书馆规程》三次修订比对,从性质、职能、工作人员、文献信息资源建设、服务和管理等多方面进行分析,从一个侧面探讨近三十年高校图书馆事业在规章制度、服务功能、队伍建设、资源建设、基础服务和创新理念等方面的发展变化。

Based on the comparison of three revisions of Ordinary University Library Regulations, this paper studied and interpreted the modified contents including the nature and function of university library, library staff, literature and information resource development, and library service and management, revealing to some extent that university librarianship in China has been witnessing a rapid development and transformation in terms of rules and regulations, essential functions, staff team, literature resource construction, as well as basic service and innovative ideas in recent three decades.
