In order to assess the ground pollution of a liquid storage, this paper establishes two mathematical models according to the principle of diffusion. The models are established in terms of horizontaled diffusion and vertical diffusion, discarding the traditional and complex three-dimension differential equation. Their analytical solutions whose parameters can be ascertained by solving algebra equations through proper layout of sample spots are discussed in the paper.The paper also addresses the method of sampling as well as the type and number of measurements meehool.
