社会工作思想在近代中国的发端与实践——以沪江大学创办的“沪东公社”为例

The Origin and Practice of Social Work Thought in Modern China:Take the Yangtze-Poo Social Center Founded In the University of Shanghai as an Example

1917年,由沪江大学葛学溥主导创建的"沪东公社",首开中国社会工作教育之先河。尽管在创建之初带有浓厚的宗教色彩,但它开展的大众教育、社会改良和慈善救济活动,却无不体现出西方社会工作的思想。如对弱势群体的观照,建立中国第一家社区服务机构;关注时代问题,不断扩展服务对象与服务领域;"三位一体"共同推进,实务工作、专业教育和学术研究紧密结合,树立大学的社会形象和社会责任。"沪东公社"所秉承的价值理念和开展的服务实践,在一定程度上反映了西方社会工作思想在近代中国的萌芽与发展过程,值得当代学者仔细研究和学习,以汲取历史经验发展当代中国社会工作。

In 1917, ＂the Yangtzepoo Social Center＂ was founded in the University of Shanghai, creating a precedent for social work education in China. It carried out the public education, improving society and charity activities, all reflecting the thought of western social work. The value of ＂the Yangtze-poo Social Center＂ and the practice service, reflected the germination and development process of Western ideas of social work in modern China. It is worthy of contemporary scholars＇ careful study and research, learning the historical experience to develop the social work in contemporary China.
