摘要
本文对国内外近45年的学术词汇研究进行了综述。文章厘清了通用核心词汇、通用学术词汇和专业学术词汇的概念,并从语料库语言学、系统功能语言学和二语习得三个视角评述了学术词汇的理论探讨,同时梳理了这三个视角下的实证研究,包括AWL学术词表的验证及具体学科词表的创建、学术词汇的功能分析、二语学术词汇的能力发展等。最后基于对研究局限的反思,文章提出了未来学术词汇研究与教学的相关启示。
This paper reviews literature on the study of academic vocabulary in the past forty-five years. It first clarifies the concept of core words, academic words and technical words, and then it outlines the research perspectives of corpus linguistics, systemic functional linguistics and second language acquisition that are largely employed in the field of academic vocabulary. Following this, it reviews the empirical studies of the modification of academic words lists and examines the functions of academic words and the development of academic vocabulary competence among second-language learners. Limitations in the existing literature are also discussed with implications for future research.
