Experience of WU Liangcun in Treating Ovarian Cancer

总结吴良村治疗卵巢癌的经验,认为卵巢癌的根本病机在于正虚体弱致寒、湿、毒、痰、瘀等病理产物积聚,终成气、血、阴、阳俱虚之证。临证重视益气养阴、顾护脾胃及重情志调气机,将卵巢癌辨证分为气血亏虚、肝肾不足、气阴两虚、气滞血瘀四型,气血亏虚型投以八珍汤加减,肝肾不足型以六味地黄汤加减,气阴两虚型以沙参麦冬汤加减,气滞血瘀型以柴胡疏肝散化裁,但亦告诫勿拘泥于证型,需个体化治疗。

The authors summarize WU Liangcun＇ s experience in treating ovarian cancer. WU thinks the fundamental pathogenesis of ovarian cancer is the accumulation of patho-production such as coldness,dampness,toxin,phlegm and stasis due to healthy Qi deficiency and weakness,resulting in Qi-blood-Yin-Yang deficiency. In clinic,WU values boosting Qi and nourishing Yin,protecting spleen and stomach,regulating emotion and Qi movement. WU divides the syndromes of ovarian cancer into 4 types,including Qi and blood deficiency,liver and kidney insufficiency,Qi and Yin deficiency as well as Qi stagnation and blood stasis. For Qi and blood deficiency,he uses modifications of Bazhen Tang（ 八珍汤）; for liver and kidney insufficiency,Liuwei Dihuang Tang（ 六味地黄汤）; for Qi and Yin deficiency,Shanshen Maidong Tang（ 沙参麦冬汤）; and for Qi stagnation and blood stasis,Chaihu Shugan San（ 柴胡舒肝散）. But WU also warns that we could not stick to the syndromes,because individual treatment is important.
