From the first revolutionary civil war to the founding of People's Republic of China, there were obvious differences between the Kuomintang official language and that of the Communist Party, which were mainly showed as elegant and popular, classical and vernacular. The former is reflected in that Kuomintang often used idioms, honorific and humbling terms, while the Communist Party usually used common sayings. The latter is reflected in the frequency of special words use. Through the investigation and analysis of the differences, we discussed the duality coexistence of the Communist Party's official language style as well as the reasons for the formation of "dual track system".
