摘要
将1种称为最大信息系数的新型统计工具引入到表达miRNA的识别中,并应用到瓣膜性心脏病(valvular heart disease,VHD)的miRNA表达谱中识别差异表达miRNA。通过对表达谱GSE28954的分析,最大信息系数方法识别了2个具有强烈差异表达的miRNA,其中,hsa-miR-221*是已有研究未发现的新的差异表达miRNA。实验提示,最大信息系数可用于差异表达miRNA的识别,且其最佳阈值为0.5~0.6。
A novel statistical method named maximal information coefficient was introduced into the identification of expressed miRNAs, and it was employed to screen differentially expressed miRNAs on a valvular heart disease (VHD) case-control expres-sion profile. By analyzing the dataset GSE28954, two miRNAs with strongly differential expression were identified by the meth-od, in which hsa-miR-221 * was a new differentially expressed miRNA by comparing the existing work. Our experiments suggest that it is feasible to employ the maximal information coefficient into identifying differentially expressed miRNAs, and the best cut-off of identification is 0. 5-0. 6.
