[目的]张掖牛品种培育现已进入世代选育阶段,为准确掌握品种选育工作进展,通过生产性能测定,确定不同生长阶段的体尺变化情况和相应的体重范围,为实际育种工作提供科学依据。[方法]在核心育种场利用测杖、卷尺等工具定期测定体高、体斜长、胸围、管围等体尺指标,用地磅测量体重,结合"胸围×胸围×体斜长/10800"的体重计算公式进行修正比较,通过SPSS软件进行分析。[结果]掌握了张掖牛不同生长阶段的体尺指标和相应的体重范围。[结论]张掖牛的BPI值公母均达到肉用型标准,需要加大选育力度,培育成肉用型新品种。

[Objective] The breed cultivation of Zhangye cattle has entered into the stage of genera- tions selection and breeding. In order to determine the body measurements and corresponding body weight range in different growth phase, grasp the breeding progress accurately and provide the scientific basis for the actual breeding work, the measuring of productivity was used. [Methods] In core breeding field, tools like biltmore stick and tape were used to measure body height, body slanting length and chest circumfer- ence, and so on And loadometer was used to measure weight. Then, these measurement data would be cor- rected by the calculation formula ＂chest x chest x body length / 10800＂. Last, SPSS software was used to analyze the data. [Results] The body measurements and corresponding body weight range in different growth phase were known. [Conclusion] The BPI value of Zhangye cattle achieves the standard of meat type, but the intensity of selection was also needed to increase in order to breed new meat type breed.
