摘要
以 α-氯代甲苯 (C6 H5CH2 Cl) /四水合氯化亚铁 (Fe Cl2 · 4 H2 O) /三苯基膦 (PPh3)为引发体系 ,在 12 0℃下引发苯乙烯进行原子转移自由基“活性”/可控聚合反应 (ATRP) .结果表明 :只有当 n(Fe) / n(P) =1∶ 3时 ,聚合产物数均分子质量 (Mn)与转化率才呈现一定的线性关系 ,聚合反应机理表现为 ATRP.对于其它 n(Fe) / n(P) (如 1∶ 2和 1∶ 4 ) ,产物的 Mn 与转化率不呈线性关系 ,表明在聚合反应过程中存在多种活性中心 .
Living'/controlled radical polymerization of styrene initiated by benzyl chloride has been achieved by atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP) catalyzed by iron dichloride tetrahydrate triphenyl phosphine complexes at 120 ℃. When n (Fe) to n (P) is 1∶3, the polymer number average molecular weight ( M n) increases linearly with monomer conversion. If n (Fe) to n (P) is 1∶2 or 1∶4, the linear relation of M n to conversion does not exist, indicating that there exist many active centers in the polymerization.
