The Sound Change of the Abrupt Tone in Zhangjiakou Dialect

张家口市方言属于北部晋语的张呼片,地处晋语区和非晋语区的过渡地带。由于地理位置紧邻北京,在普通话影响日益深入的情况下,张家口市方言的入声特征正在发生显著的变化:张家口老、中、青3代发音人的入声字数量递减,舒化比例递增,舒化后韵类和调类的归并受普通话影响明显。张家口市方言入声舒化的声母条件是:次浊入>全浊入>清入。

Zhangjiakou dialect belongs to Zhang-Hu Section of northern Jin dialect. Zhangjiakou is loca- ted between Jin dialect area and Mandarin area. Being very close to Beijing, under the influence of Mandarin Chinese,abrupt tone in Zhangjiakou dialect is changing：the number of characters with abrupt tone used by the old,the middle-aged and the young bears a descending tendency while the rate of the disappearance of the tail vowel in an ascending one. The rhymes obviously influenced by Mandarin.
