摘要
随着高等教育改革的推进,民办高校迅猛发展成我国高教事业中重要而独具特色的组成部分。但在办学质量方面,存在诸多问题,其中缺乏高素质教师队伍是备受关注的一个问题。从发达国家的经验来看,高素质教师队伍的形成关键是评定教师素质的客观依据。而我国现行教师评价的误区难以科学评定各类高校教师素质,难以满足许多家长与学生希望享用优质教师资源的需求。当前,关于民办高校教师胜任力的研究甚少,无疑对之展开多角度的专题探讨就变得重要而紧迫。本研究首先通过对文献的回顾与工作访谈,初步提炼出民办高校教师的胜任力特征,并编制研究问卷。接下来,基于调查问卷(1000),通过探索性和验证性因子分析对民办高校教师胜任力进行了解析。结果显示,民办高校教师胜任力因子主要包含教学能力、个人特质、专业知识、动机与态度、科研能力五个方面。
Private higher education has become an important part in the higher education system in China today and played a significant role in developing higher education. As the most important resource, the quality of the teachers has a critical impact on the survival and development of private higher education. This research builds a competence model for teachers in private universities by using a behavioral event interview(BEI), a questionnaire and factor analysis.The results show that the competence model for teachers in private higher education mainly includes pedagogical skill, knowledge, professional attributes, attitude, and research ability.
