商务英语教学与国际商务背景文化的关系

The Relationship between Business English Teaching and the Background Culture of International Business

随着国际经济交流与合作的不断深入,跨国公司和国际贸易越来越多,不同国家、不同文化背景的商务合作带来经济效益的同时也产生了各种文化冲突,因此,国际市场迫切需要具备商业知识和英语技能,同时又了解不同国家文化背景的人才。商务英语教学的目的即培养这种适应国际商务活动的复合型人才。文章分析了国际商务中常见的文化冲突和商务英语教学的现状,提出在商务英语教学中融入国际商务背景文化教学的建议。

With deepening international economic exchange and cooperation, transnational companies and inter- national trade are growing correspondingly. Business cooperation with various cultural backgrounds between countries brings us huge economic benefits as well as cultural conflicts. Therefore, there arises an urgent need around the international market for talents with both business skills, English knowledge and a well understanding of various cultures. That is exactly where the target of business English teaching lies, cultivating interdisciplinary talents adapted to international business activities. This thesis analyzes cultural conflicts arising in international business activities and the current situation of business English teaching, and gives some advice on how to inte- grate international business culture teaching into business English teaching.
