On Strengthening Ideological Work in Colleges by Enhancing Three Kinds of Awareness

2016年12月召开的全国高校思想政治工作会议,习近平总书记参加此次会议并做了重要讲话,进一步指明了我国高校的历史使命,对高校思想政治工作提出了新的要求,明确了加强和改进高校思想政治工作的聚焦点、着力点,其意义重大而深远。作为新疆高校,思想政治教育工作更应该摆在重要的位置上,我们应认真贯彻落实这次会议的部署要求,努力把高校思想政治工作推向新境界,为实现新疆社会稳定与长治久安,提供有力的人才支撑。

In the national conference of ideological and political work of higher education in December 2016, President XI Jinping delivered an important report in which be pointed out the historical mission that higher schools of China shoulder, proposed new requirements for the ideological work in higher schools and specified the focus and effort that higher schools would intensify on the ideological work. President Xi＇ s address is of great significance for the ideological and political work in higher schools of China. The paper contends that the higher schools will have to carry out the spirit of President Xi＇ s address and bring the requirements into reality to push the ideological work to a higher level. In Xinjiang, higher schools have to strengthen the ideological work to keep the the social stability and foster high-level talents with firm communist faith.
